Teso La Monja is the Eguren family's new project in Toro after Numanthia Termes with which they are seeking new approaches to achieve unique Toro wines based on vineyards with very specific characteristics.
After their triumphant period at the helm of Numanthia-Termes, the Eguren brothers embarked on a new project within the Toro Denomination of Origin with Bodega Teso La Monja. With this new project they have demonstrated that they are capable of making wines of the highest quality, powerful, elegant and with all the character of the land of Toro.
The Bodega Teso La Monja winery searched within the Toro DO for land capable of transmitting the maximum minerality, which, together with the old pre-phylloxera vines, has led them to achieve unique wines. These privileged soils are worked in an efficient and sustainable manner, respecting the cycles and biorhythms of the plant without leaving aside the most modern winemaking techniques, but always keeping in mind the rhythms of nature.
