Rebeldes

The Rebelde del Montsant project

Rebeldes is a work commissioned by two experts in the sector; Javier Bueno and Josep Serra who, in a winery with more than 100 years of history located in Montsant, produce a friendly wine, easy to drink, but with the characteristic personality of the area.

Rebeldes comes from young vineyards located between the villages of Marcà and Masroig, in the heart of Montsant. The vines are cultivated using the traditional system and respecting the character of the terroir. The area is characterised by mild temperatures, low rainfall and Mediterranean breezes.

Once the grapes are harvested, the Rebeldes grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. In addition, the Cariñena variety undergoes a light ageing process in foudres before the coupage of the three varieties is made.
