Lallier Champagne

A NEW PERSPECTIVE

Champagne Lallier brings a fresh perspective to the iconic world of Champagne.

Born in Aÿ, France in 1906, the Maison has its roots in the heart of the Grand Cru Champagne region and designs some of the most exquisite terroir-driven Champagne cuvées.

Driven by authenticity, curiosity and a sincere passion for nature, the Champagne house's distinctive philosophy and time-consuming winemaking techniques set it apart from other Maisons, always with a focus on highlighting the rare individuality of terroir above all else.

For over 115 years, Champagne Lallier has continued to look to the future with experience and intuition as its guide, preserving the historic art of Grand Cru winemaking and refusing to set boundaries when it comes to contemporary thinking and the Maison's creative instincts.

AŸ: THE BIRTHPLACE OF LALLIER

Home of Champagne Lallier, Aÿ's winemaking history dates back almost 1700 years to Roman times.

In the 16th century, Henry IV, "His Majesty of Aÿ and good wine", created the reputation of the still white wines of Aÿ throughout his kingdom. Some two hundred years later, the invention of blending and the Méthode Champenoise's control of secondary fermentation in the bottle gave rise to Champagne, the sparkling wine we know today.

In 1936, Aÿ was one of the seventeen villages classified as "Grand Cru" in Champagne, a clear indication of the quality of the grapes grown on its famous hillsides and the remarkable wines they produce.

PLACES LALLIER:AŸ AND OGER

Champagne Lallier is located in two historic Grand Cru vineyards: the first in Aÿ, which houses the aging cellar, and the second in Oger, Côte des Blancs, with the Maison's modern production facilities.

Each location complements the other, combining ancestral techniques with the latest in winemaking.
