From the four corners of Scotland to the four corners of the world
In 1932, Johnnie Walker launched the first Johnnie Walker Swing, designed by Sir Alexander Walker. It was a very interesting bottle, because it had a curved base, which prevented the bottle from breaking when travelling on the high seas with the movement of the waves. The three most exclusive malts from 3 distilleries, which he calls "diamonds in the rough", were selected to make the first Johnnie Walker & Sons triple malt scotch whisky.
Today, and after almost two centuries of illusions and progress, he explores the great flavours of Scotch Whisky under five labels:
RED LABEL: full character. Versatile and vibrant. Perfect for blending, yet never losing its character.
BLACK LABEL: Deep and versatile. Rich and smooth. Black Label is an acknowledged masterpiece of distilling whose depth of flavour is due to the selection of over 40 whiskies.
GREEN LABEL: Blended Malt. Fresh and unique. Created from a blend of the finest malt whiskies, each specially selected for the intensity of its flavour and aroma.
GOLD LABEL: pure pleasure. Gold Label is an exclusive blend of single malts and single grain whiskies. A rare blend, "honeyed" and silky, with a delicate smoothness that gives it a totally unique taste.
BLUE LABEL: the jewel in the crown. BLUE LABEL has won numerous awards for excellence. It is the result of blending some of our most exclusive malts and the finest grains matured to their optimum.
