Excellence made reality
The winery is located in an area with slate soils that are not very fertile. An acid soil, with low humidity and great contrasts in temperature between day and night. But luckily, the area has a specific microclimate that achieves a greater expressiveness of each of the varieties planted.
The varieties chosen are both native, such as Tempranillo, and foreign varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot.
The vineyard is divided into 68 plots in which scientific analyses of the soil and climatic characteristics are carried out.
All the movement of the grapes, once in the winery, is carried out by gravity to preserve their optimum state for maceration. The grapes arrive intact to the tanks at a constant temperature of 6ºC. Each plot has its own tank where the grapes macerate according to their own specific needs and are also aged in different barrels, always French oak.
