A dream come true: to make the best wine
Valdejalón, land of garnachas and braves as the winery itself indicates, is located in the province of Zaragoza.
It has a continental climate with Mediterranean influence, very extreme in terms of temperature fluctuations, with a low rainfall of between 100 and 300 l/m2 per year and a very present wind, "el Cierzo". Garnacha is its main grape, a grape that for the creators of this winery has great potential.
This winery is made up of approximately 25 hectares. Most of them are located in the surroundings of Épila, on the left bank of the river, at just over 300 metres above sea level, where clay-limestone soils predominate, and a small part further west, where they are over 600 metres above sea level and red slate soils dominate.
The winery takes its name from San Frontonio, patron saint of the municipality of Épila.
