Condesa de Leganza

Wines with elegance

Bodegas Leganza is located in the heart of the La Mancha countryside, in the heart of the Don Quixote Route. And in this land it owns 524 hectares of vineyards of different native and international varieties: Tempranillo, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo and Viura.

Bodegas Leganza demonstrates the ability to change, to transform, to work with new ideas to develop, from eight grape varieties, wines with freedom, with their own personality. Fruity, fresh and smooth wines; wines that transmit modernity, freshness and femininity.

All the grapes used to make Condesa de Leganza wines come from the Los Trenzones estate. The grapes are harvested with extreme care and once in the winery, a rigorous selection process is carried out where all those that are not in perfect condition are discarded, using only the best grapes. The grapes, once harvested and selected, are emptied into the hopper where they are destemmed before being transferred to the fermentation tanks. The winery has small tanks where the different varieties of grapes that make up the different plots ferment separately. At Bodegas Leganza only new French and American oak barrels are used, all of them stacked up to four high, where the temperature and humidity are kept at the right levels.
