Wine with the soul of the forest

The Matasnos forest and vineyard are located in Peñaranda de Duero, Burgos, 18 kilometres from Aranda del Duero in the direction of Soria, on the high plateau of the Ribera del Duero, 950 metres above sea level.

Curiously, the Matasnos forest and vineyard, despite being at 950 metres above sea level, do not usually have problems with frost as they are on a well-ventilated plateau and sheltered by the forest that protects them from frost, but they do enjoy slow ripening due to the great contrasts between day and night, which can reach up to 20 degrees during the ripening period almost everywhere.

The project arises as an initiative to promote the Ribera Alta del Duero with a wine of exceptional quality that respects the unique environment in which it is born, the forest and vineyard of Matasnos.
