Vineyards full of life
Bodegas Aragonesas was founded in 1984 and is located in the Zaragoza town of Fuendejalón, at the foot of the Moncayo mountain range. Although this is a region where Garnacha is the queen grape, this winery works with native and foreign varieties.
This winery works with different types of grapes such as Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Mazuela, Chardonnay, Macabeo or Moscatel de Alejandría, but always with Garnacha as the prevailing grape.
It has 3,700 hectares of stony vineyards with reddish soils, some of which are more than 100 years old.
Bodegas Aragonesas' wine range is varied and extensive, and includes organic labels, complex wines, signature wines, young wines, rosés, single varietals and coupages, although one of its best-known ranges on the market is Coto de Hayas.
