The most awarded gin in the world
This London Dry style gin was originally created by James Burrough in 1820 and is named after the guardians who guard the tower of the British capital.
The company ceased to belong to the Burrough family in 1987 when it was acquired by Whitbread. In 2005 it changed hands again to belong to Pernod Ricard.
It is one of the few internationally renowned gins still made in the very heart of London.
The Beefeater Gin recipe has stood the test of time virtually unchanged, retaining the nine botanicals that Burrough chose in his day. These include citrus, oranges and lemons from Spain.
This gin prides itself on being the most awarded gin in the world, having won three awards for the best gin in the world at the IWSC in the last four years.
