Ayala

A champagne with history

The winery was founded in 1860 thanks to the marriage between Edmundo de Ayala and Gabriela d'Albrecht. She brought the Château d'Aÿ and the superb vineyards of Aÿ and Mareuil sur Aÿ while he brought all his knowledge in the creation of Champagne. Thus the Maison d'Ayala was born.

In 1882, Ayala became one of the 18 founding members of the Syndicat des Grandes Marques. Before the Second World War, Ayala supplied the courts of Spain and Great Britain.

Since 2005, Ayala belongs to the Société Jacques Bollinger, owned by the Bollinger family.
