Wines with character and differentiation
Artadi is one of Spain's great wineries. In 1986, a group of winegrowers from Rioja Alavesa, led by Juan Carlos López de Lacalle, decided to join forces.
The winery has more than 80 hectares of vineyards planted on soils with a wide and diverse range of peculiarities. They are made up of limestone, gravel and clay, a soil puzzle marked by an alternating climate.
After 30 years of history, Artadi has become a group of three wineries: Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi in Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa), Bodegas y Viñedos Artazu in the Navarra appellation and Bodegas y Viñedos El Sequé in the Alicante appellation.
