Ao yun

Beneath the imposing Himalayas and in the north of Yunnan province, in the villages of Adong, Xidang, Sinong and Shuori, the vineyards of Ao Yun are located at an altitude of 2,200 to 2,600 metres. For centuries, farmers in the area have innovated farming techniques on the mountain slopes while respecting tradition and knowledge.

"Flying above the clouds", that is the meaning of the name Ao Yun in reference to the clouds on the mountain tops of the area. From the 30 hectares of vineyards, the first vintage produced by the winery in 2013 was made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
