Garnacha wines of the highest quality

The winery was founded in 2002 from some of the oldest vines in the area. Today it produces wine from 92 hectares of native Garnacha vines, planted several decades ago on the slopes of the Moncayo foothills, in unique soils of red clay mixed with slate. The soils are poor in organic matter and shallow. The vines are goblet-trained with native clones of the local grape variety and face southwest. The winery is located in Borja, the nerve centre of the Campo de Borja DO.

Alto Moncayo's wines are of the highest quality, with the aim of becoming a winery that will become a world reference in the native Garnacha variety of the area, with wines of the highest quality, very structured, full in the mouth, fresh and with a great concentration of flavour. This winery markets its wines under three brands: 'Aquilon', 'Alto Moncayo' and 'Veraton'.
