At Lopez de Heredia, the winemaking process is a family heritage that is passed down from generation to generation; it is a mystique present in a daily work, rooted in the perenniality of tradition and in the deep conviction of the validity and validity of the family methods.

In order to obtain the highest quality wines, it is necessary to have one's own agricultural heritage. For this reason, between 1913-1914, Don Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta planted Viña Tondonia, giving rise to the winery's best known product. Viña Tondonia is a beautiful vineyard of more than 100 hectares, located on the right bank of the river Ebro, where the most typically Riojan grape varieties are grown.
