The vineyards of the high rioja, from which the grape come for the wines of this winery, are characterized by being clayed soils - calcareous, clay-ferrous and allovers. CVNE controls around 545 hectares located in the subzones of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.
Making notes
Wine made from high-quality grapes harmless in the best payments of Rioja-Alavesa. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, performing successive and "delestages" in order to achieve a good extraction of structure and color. The malolactic fermentation is carried out in French and American oak barrels, and by means of manuals, the wine is stabilized and clean naturally. After raising in barrel of approximately 2 years the wine goes to aging in the bottle.
