Description of Vara Y Pulgar
Vara y Pulgar 2017 is a surprising and delicious rarity. An elegant, voluminous and mineral red wine. Compañía de Vinos del Atlántico, a giant winery present in 18 denominations in Spain and Portugal, produces this single-variety wine from tintilla, a historical variety in Jerez, currently in the process of recovery. The vineyards of origin of this wine date back to 1933 and grow in fine albariza soils that give it great uniqueness. It is aged for 20 months in cement tanks, large wooden vats and French oak barrels.
