Description of Teira X

Teira X is a white wine produced by the winery Adega Manuel Formigo, in Beade, D. O. Ribeiro. The grapes used to produce this wine come from the vineyard of Miñoteira, the main property of the Formigo de La Fuente winery and one of the oldest Treixadura estates in the area. It is a classic Ribeiro that has an aromatic range where the white flowers and fine lees appear, while its way along mouth is fruity, elegant and with good acidity.

Making notes Teira X

Notas del Viñedo

Elaborated in Finca Miñoteira, a plot of 1.5 hectares in the form of banks, in the form of banks or socalus with a north-south orientation with more than 30 years of age. The soil is evolved granite (Song) seated on a large mother rock with a significant content of stones and gravels that improve the insoliation of the clusters.

Making notes

The vintage is a manual with grape selection in the vineyard. Once in the cellar the grape is squeezed softly and pressed. It only takes advantage of the pressing must maximum at 0.2 bar pressure. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature at 16 ° C for 15 days. It does not perform the malolactic fermentation.
