Description of Sierra Cantabria Garnacha

Sierra Cantabria Garnacha 2017 is a single varietal wine made from old Grenache vines from a plot in the Sonsierra area that dates back to 1927. This type of wine has a more Atlantic profile, giving more fragrant and subtle profiles in terms of both colour and aromatic tones. The winemaking process is very traditional, destemming the grapes and ageing in barrels, in this case, only French oak for 12.5 months. A wine that speaks to us of its origin and of a versatile variety, which can be fresh and fragrant without losing its juicy, fruity mouthfeel. An all-rounder at the table, beyond meat or fish, it can accompany dishes with edges and spices such as marinades, intense spicy dishes or dishes with acidity such as tomato sauces or unripened goat's cheese.
