Description of Sierra Cantabria Crianza
Sierra Cantabria Crianza is one of the most popular wines produced in Rioja. It has style between modernity and classicism that pleases every table. At the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria, specifically in the villages of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida, are the vineyards of the tempranillo variety with which this wine is made. The Eguren family has been working in the area for decades, producing icons in the area, and this crianza was a milestone in the winery's selection, being crowned as the most popular Spanish wine in the United States according to Wine & Spirit Magazine. The elaboration is very traditional, destemmed grapes, fermentation with controlled temperature and aging of 14 months in 225 liters American and French oak barrels with a maximum of 3 uses. A very versatile Rioja aging, with fresh fruit and toasted notes, and above all with a nimble but well structured mouth that allows to leave the usual schemes and accompany very well fatty fish dishes, pistos and tomato sauces and any time of appetizer and informal tapas.Ideal pairing
