Description of RICARD 45
Ricard is the drink par excellence in France.
Its origins date back to 1932, when Paul Ricard created the company that bears his name.
In 1940, the Vicky regime banned the production of pastis, but four years later the law was suspended.
In 1968, Paul Ricard cedes his position to his son Patrick Ricard, who takes over as CEO of the Pernod Ricard Group.
The 1975 merger of Ricard and its competitor Pernod Ricard creates the Pernod Ricard company, spreading the Ricard brand worldwide.
Ricard is Europe's leading spirits brand, the undisputed benchmark in France, particularly in the Marseille area.
It is a product made with anise, licorice and aromatic plants from Provence.
It is recommended to be consumed very cold, diluted in water (one part Ricard to 5 parts water) or diluted in lemon.
