Remirez de Ganuza
Remirez de Ganuza is one of the iconic wineries of the Sierra de Cantabria. Fernando Remirez founded the winery in 1989, acquiring some of the best vineyards in the Sonsierra area between Rioja Alta and Alavesa. Loyalty to the vineyard, with an average age of over 50 years, and an obsession for precision and cleanliness throughout the process up to the glass. The 2004 vintage was awarded 100 Parker points for its Gran Reserva.

Description of Remirez de Ganuza Gran Reserva
Remirez de Ganuza Gran Reserva 2011 is the legendary wine produced in the winery and which achieved the famous 100 Parker points in its 2004 vintage. It is made only from the shoulders of the grapes from the winery's oldest vines. In its blend we find 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano. Aged in French oak barrels for almost 40 months. This Gran Reserva, which is released almost 10 years after its harvest, is one of the best examples of Rioja's Gran Reservas, with balance, finesse and an extraordinary cellaring capacity. The availability of this reference is very limited.
