The Winery
Protos
In addition to being the most visited winery in Ribera del Duero, Protos is one of the pioneers in the area. In fact, in 1982, it was Protos who ceded its "Ribera del Duero" brand to the Regulatory Council of the D.O. The winery has managed to create its own identity as a reference in the area, which it has also managed to capture in its wines from Rueda and its wines are recognised as a reference in both areas.

Description of Protos Tinto Roble
Protos Tinto Roble is one of the most affordable and well-known wines of Protos, where we can appreciate the freshness and the presence of toasted notes from its slight ageing in equal parts, a wine to enjoy from the moment of purchase without complications, as a wine to drink with or as an accompaniment. It is made with 100% Tempranillo and belongs, as it could not be otherwise, to the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin. Aged for 6 months in American oak barrels and for another 6 months in the bottle. A very versatile wine that we can drink at any time and that never disappoints.
