Protos

In addition to being the most visited winery in Ribera del Duero, Protos is one of the pioneers in the area. In fact, in 1982, it was Protos who ceded its "Ribera del Duero" brand to the Regulatory Council of the D.O. The winery has managed to create its own identity as a reference in the area, which it has also managed to capture in its wines from Rueda and its wines are recognised as a reference in both areas.

  Protos Clarete 2019 is a rosé wine made with Tinta del Pais grapes in the Province of Valladolid. The grapes come from high altitude vineyards (950 mts) and are elaborated by means of a cold maceration for 15 hours and subsequent bleeding, clearly preserving all the fruit power of the variety. Fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 15º. It is a sweet rosé, full of red fruit and seeds, which retains a refreshing acidity thanks to a very early harvest that makes it a balanced and versatile rosé for all tables and moments.
