Matarromera
Bodega Matarromera was founded in 1988 in Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid), and in 1994 its first wine was released, and with that vintage it won the award for Best Wine in the World, winning the Grand Gold Medal at the International Wine Competition. Since its beginnings, the brand has achieved an enviable position in the competitive wine market. Since then, it has received many and varied awards and accolades, both national and international, including the Food of Spain Award 2015 in the category of Best Agri-Food Industry and the recognition of the American magazine Wine & Spirits as one of the 100 best wineries in the world in 2014.

Description of Matarromera Crianza
Matarromera is one of the most iconic wineries of the famous Ribera del Duero. Since its first vintage of its aging in 1994, where they achieved the highest distinction in the International Wine Competition with a Grand Gold Medal, have been more than 30 years producing wines with their own identity in the Ribera del Duero. Matarromera Crianza is a benchmark in its category, to consistently achieve a subtle and balanced aging able to identify with a particular origin. Vineyard from the municipalities of Olivares and Valbuena de Duero mostly. A traditional process of elaboration with the highest standards of production, and the best qualities in the cooperages used for its aging, barrels of 225 lt of French and American oak of the best forests. The result is a red wine with a lot of elegance that offers the best of the fruit load of a balanced and direct red wine of the country, and the sobriety of an upbringing that gives toasted notes and of spices to complete the set.
