Description of Marques de Tosos Reserva
In 1984 Marqués de Tosos was born. Coming from the vineyards of Monte Alcañiz, a place also known as Dehesa de la Marquesa, these wines are characterized by their high expression achieved thanks to the temperature contrasts that occur in this Pago. The history of the Marquisate begins in 1702, when King Philip V granted Mr. Juan Ulzurrum de Asanza the title of Count or Marquis of Aragon, with the name Marquis de Tosos, which refers to the town of the same name located in the Campo de Cariñena. The combination of three varieties, Garnacha, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, together with its ageing in American oak barrels, gives this red wine a high level of expression. A sober and rounded wine, ideal to enjoy with all types of meat.Ideal pairing
