The Winery
Lustau
Cathedral-like wineries, with high ceilings, thick walls, large windows and immaculate terracotta floors that maintain a stable temperature and humidity to favour the special microclimate that Jerez wines need.
Lustau is the only winery that makes wines in the three cities of the Marco: Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
The vineyards receive around 3,000 hours of sunshine each year, accompanied by relatively high rainfall (600 litres per square metre on average per year). The landscape of the area is mostly made up of hills of very white limestone soil, known as "albariza". Its uniqueness is due to the fact that this area was under the sea thousands of years ago.
All this together with a great team of master coopers, master blenders, oenologists and field team add to its 120 years of experience a unique know-how in the area.

Description of Lustau Oloroso Don Nuño
Don Ñuño is a Premium Oloroso made by Bodegas Lustau, one of the oldest wineries in the Jerez area. This is a dry Oloroso, with less than 8 grams of residual sugar per liter, aged for years using the traditional system of criaderas and soleras. Over the years, it has gone from biological ageing under the veil of flor to oxidative ageing. Lustau Oloroso Don Ñuño is a wine, as its name indicates, with powerful aromas and organoleptic characteristics. Great example of the Olorosos from Jerez.Ideal pairing
