Description of Licor 43
Licor 43 or just Cuarenta y Tres is a Spanish liquor, with a thick texture and yellowish color, made with eggs and fruit juices.
It has a vanilla flavor and is sweet on the palate. It has been distributed since 1946 by Diego Zamora Conesa, and Cia S. R. C. which would later be renamed Diego Zamora S. A., and has its main headquarters in Cartagena.
The name of 43 comes from the 43 ingredients that make up the liquor, including vanilla and other spices .
It is usually drunk with ice, and usually mixed with espresso coffee or a soft drink, usually orange, cola or lime.
