Description of La Castellana Sweet Anisette
Anis La Castellana is an
anisette produced in Segovia since 1894 in the family factory of the Segovian industrialist and financier Nicomedes García Gómez.
In love with the world of liquors, after a trip to Scotland in 1958, García Gómez founded, with a group of friends and shareholders of the Banco General, the company Destilerías y Crianza del Whisky, dedicated to the production and marketing of
DYC whisky.
Today, the brand continues with its factory in the province of Segovia, located in Valverde del Majano, in an industrial estate named after Nicomedes García.
Anis La Castellana is a typical Spanish distillate of aniseed and badian grain, mixed with demineralized water, sugar syrup and molasses alcohols.
