Description of Gin Martin Millers 9 Moons 1/2
9 Moons was born from experimental cocktail making by a daring group of New York mixologists who had achieved surprising results by storing Martin Miller's gin in mini-kegs.
9 Moons gin is aged in oak barrels which are filled with Martin Miller’s high-strength gin and aged for 9 months, or 9 moons, at Martin Miller’s Gin cellar in Iceland. From each barrel, some 2000 bottles are extracted, numbered one by one, which are then mixed with Icelandic spring water until a bottling strength of 40% is obtained, which gives them that characteristic smooth quality of Martin Miller’s drinks.
There is a total production of 8,000 bottles.
