bright cherry red, very covered

Smell

Nose of good intensity, fruits of the forest and liquorice notes first accompanied instance typical aromas of wood, roasted and sweet spices. Cup mineral sensations appear as well.

Taste

Attack with good volume and density, intense notes of mature forest fruit, ripe tannin. The freshness in the mouth gives a perfect balance to the depth and concentration of this wine. Persistent and complex in its aftertaste

Description of Finca Villacreces

Finca Villacreces 2016 is the estate's flagship wine. The wine is a selection of 15 plots in Quintanilla de Onesimo with its best vines. The blend of varieties is somewhat different from that of Pruno, incorporating a small part of Merlot into the existing equation, where fine red wine with 10% cabernet sauvignon predominated. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with <em>pissage</em> and wine is then aged in French oak barrels for approximately 14 months. This wine is an example of elegant and complex Ribera del Duero but with an ease of drinking, which is overwhelming in a wine of this entity. A wine of guarantee in any table like its little brother, but with some more volume, structure and concentration of aromas and flavors.
