Descripción de Finca San Martin CrianzaDescription of Finca San Martin Crianza

Finca San Martin is single-variety wine aged at the Torre de Oña winery. Made with 100% Tempranillo grapes that surround the winery in Paganos-Laguardia, it captures the essence of the Rioja Alavesa, with very fresh fruit, acidity and an excellent balance that surprises in a crianza. Finca San Martín's aging process lasts about 16 months and the wine is stored during that time in semi-new French oak barrels. The versatility of Finca San Martin Crianza allows it to accompany a wide variety of food pairings, from semi-cured cheeses to sausages and red meat, whether stewed or grilled.

Making notes

The processing method has been the traditional border of marking, smooth squeezing and rear covered in deposits. After alcoholic fermentation, the wines performed the malolactic fermentation naturally for three months with a removal of weekly lias to provide the wine of greater unctuousness. The aging began in January 2017 in new American oak barrels (60%) and French two-wire oak (40%) for 16 months. This wine was evident three times by the traditional method and was bottled in May 2018.
