Description of Casar de Vide Treixadura

Casar de Vide is the latest project in the map of vineyards and wineries of Wineries Familiares Matarromera. In the year 2019 was produced the first vintage of their wines. The project aims to combine the know-how of the group with the tradition of the D. O. Ribeiro, one of the oldest in the peninsula, with a centennial wine history. Casar de Vide Treixadura 2019 is elaborated in an 85% with Treixadura to which is added a blend of Albariño, Godello and Torrontes to complete the coupage. The result is a white wine with predominantly fruity, citrus and green apple notes typical of Treixadura, with a sensation of texture and creaminess achieved through the management of fine lees. A fantastic wine to start a menu related to the sea, or to harmonize dishes with creamy sauces.
