Description of Campillo Reserva Especial

Campillo Reserva Especial is a red wine from the D. O. La Rioja produced by the Campillo winery. This wine is a coupage of Tempranillo (85%) and Graciano (10%), to which small quantities of other varieties are added, which embody an excellent vintage. The grapes come from the Villa Lucía and Larraz estates, and after going through selection table and tanks, they remain 23 months in French Allier oak barrels.

The Grape that Campillo Special Reserve uses comes from two different farms: Villa Lucía and Larraz. These are 650 meters altitude and enjoy an optimal climate for the cultivation of the vine, especially during the vegetative cycle.
