Located in Peñaranda de Duero at 950 metres above sea level and sheltered by the Matasnos Forest, the vineyard and its winery are the source of excellent quality wines from the Alta Ribera del Duero. Fine structured and elegant red wines, and singular novelties such as its 100% Malbec.

Look
intense cherry, very high and bright.
Smell
Very high intensity, complex, clean and elegant, very interesting. Fruit ripe black plums, accompanied to perfection by balsamic notes and spices like cloves, incense and a slight hint of laurel.
Taste
Fine, long and silky entrance, very silky judging by a few extra elegant tannins, well integrated with red fruit, black, cloves and vanilla does not appear now. Long, rich and elegant. It is at an optimum time of consumption.

Bosque de Matasnos Limited Edition is a red wine made with Tempranillo and Merlot grape by the Bosque de Matasnos winery, which owes its name to all the donkeys, carriers of wood from deforested trees, that died during the 1960s due to the extreme temperature conditions that occurred in the forests. Bosque de Matasnos Limited Edition has the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin, as it is aged for 12 months in cask and another 30 months in bottle to enhance the flavours. A great accompaniment to roasted red meats, barbecues, cheeses, sausages and foie gras.
