The Winery
Perelada
Winemaking at Perelada Castle has been documented since the Middle Ages, as attested to by several documents and parchments from that period that are kept in the library. When Miguel Mateu bought this monumental complex in 1923, one of his main objectives was to revitalise this winemaking tradition, a tradition that today is more alive than ever and which has incorporated the most modern technology to produce wines that make the most of the nuances of the soils and vineyards of the Empordà.

Description of Borgo Imperiale Moscato Perelada
The long winemaking tradition of Decordi dates back to the 1920s, when the family ran a traditional "osteria" in Solarolo Monasterolo. The specialty of this family winery is high quality frizzanti and sparkling wines. At present, the Decordi, already in their fourth generation, combine the latest wine technology with the maintenance of tradition. Not surprisingly, the family osteria continues to be one of its main centers of operations, where its wines can be tasted accompanied by the best traditional Italian food.Ideal pairing
