The Winery

CVNE

Compañia Vitivinicola del Norte de España was founded in 1879 in the Haro station district. With more than 500 hectares of its own vineyards in the Rioja Alta and Alavesa subzones and pioneers in many areas of Rioja wine. Commercial brands such as Viña Real, Imperial or Monopole are hidden under the CVNE umbrella.

Bela is the new project carried out by the famous winery C. V. N. E. in Ribera del Duero. This monovarietal Tempranillo has an aging of 6 months in stainless steel tanks, to move to a 12 months in new American and French oak barrels, some aromas of red fruits and notes of licorice, blackberry and cinnamon. It is a good wine to paired with cured cheeses, stewed meats, red meats, roasts or game meats.
