Description of Atteca
Atteca is a single-variety Garnacha wine produced by Wineries Ateca, located in the town of the same name and near the capital of Zaragoza. In these places, the climate is characterized by extreme temperatures and very strong thermal oscillations, which together with the slate soils create wines with a good quality and a low production.
In this case, the Atteca wine is the result of a manual selection of the Garnacha grape and an aging of 12 months in French oak barrels, which gives it aromas of vanilla and liquorice, as well as complexity on the palate.
