AT Roca

In the Ordal area, Agusti Torello Sibill, together with his son Agusti Torello Roca in 2012, undertook a project aimed at producing great sparkling wines focused on the landscape. Wines with a singular capacity to bottle a territory marked by a vineyard worked in the most respectful way on the characteristic calcareous soils of the area. Precision and identity, incredible wines.

Look

Color presents "birdseye". very fine bubbles, slowly evolving, forming beads and dense crown. Tear abundant and slow fall.

Smell

Is clean and frank, intense and complex aromas of stone fruit and citrus on a background of pastry.

Taste

The palate is fresh and mineral, with fine bubbles and integrated, large and creamy.

  AT Roca Pedregar Eco 2016 is the rosé of Agusti Torello Sibill and son's project. A pure expression of a Grenache plot in the Costers del Ordal area, with chalky soils and long ageing. As in the rest of the project, a vineyard respected and treated with care and in a sustainable way, certified organic. A seal of identity that puts the focus on the vineyard rather than on the method itself, which is taken for granted in one of the families that produces this type of sparkling wine in Classic Penedés with the greatest precision. Pedregar 2016 is a sparkling wine with a level of precision very difficult to find in its range, a 3-hectare plot with 85% Grenache and 15% Macabeo with an elegant, deep, and complex palate. In the glass it is also particularly elegant, its long ageing is expressed in the quality of its bubbles and texture, without hiding the subtlety of the light notes of acid red fruit, aniseed and citrus fruits accompanied by the ageing notes. A very gastronomic wine, fantastic with delicate seafood dishes, shellfish, baked oily white fish, and of course long cured Iberian cured meats.

Notas del Viñedo

The Viña del Pedregar, of just over 3 hectares and planted in 1982. A fresh vineyard of more than 35 years of Garnacha Ink and Macabeo, planted on marbles Calcarías.

Making notes

7 months in barrel and a minimum of 30 months in bottle.

Climatología

It has a cool microclimate. North orientation allows you to expose yourself to the plus dim and subtle light of the morning, protecting it from the torrid and warm afternoon sun. The central situation of the Conca offers a greater thermal gradient, allowing a slower and more balanced maturation of the grape.
