The Winery

Frontonio

Bodegas Frontonio is a small project in the Valdejalón area led by Fernando Mora (Master of Wine). They elaborate in their winery/cave in Alpartir a wide range of vinifications trying to faithfully capture the unique style of their estates, and putting in value the autochthonous varieties such as the red Garnacha and the Macabeo with wines now present in more than 30 countries.

Smell

Elegant spicy nose with intense raspberry, white pepper and fresh mint. Notes nail and toasted for 7 months aging in barrels Allier 500L.

Taste

Dry, light body, fresh acidity, alcohol integrated, velvety tannins. Long, intensive balsamic and complex flavors due to lack of sulfites or any other addition.

Alas De Frontonio Garnacha 2017 is a fruity red wine with an elegant nose of red fruits such as raspberry, intense notes of mint and minerals and hints of clove. In the mouth it is dry, fresh and light. Great intensity of balsamic and complex aftertaste.
