Abadia Retuerta
Abadía Retuerta is a 25 year old project with the aim of enhancing the value of a magical location. Surrounded by vineyards, the Abadía de Santa Maria de Retuerta is the cradle of some of the most sober and personal wines of the Ribera del Duero. Pascal Delbeck, the legendary winemaker of Chateau Ausone, one of the jewels of Pomerol, is responsible for its wines, which are known worldwide.

Complex and attractive nose, with plenty of floral aromas, well assembled red fruits, with hints of breeding, fresh notes of eucalyptus and memories roasted coffee and caramel.

Produced with the best grapes from each of our estates, it combines the richness of Tempranillo, the intensity of Syrah and the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Abadía Retuerta Special Selection 2001 was awarded at the International Wine Challenge in London as the best red wine in the world in 2005. Abadía Retuerta Selección Especial has also been positioned for three consecutive years in Wine Spectator's Top 100 Best Wines of the World with the 2010, 2011, and 2012 vintages.
